There are many reasons people choose to enter into the special world of Wilderness Adventure and Hunting Guide professions. Take a look as some of the comments of our prospective students and graduates.

I want to become a hunting guide because, i love being outdoors, and hunting ever since i was a child, I would love a career where i could incorporate both. *JW

I would love to become a recognized guide in order to carry my passion for the outdoors into a career choice. I've grown up hiking, fishing, and hunting and can't think of anything I'd rather do now that I've graduated college and started job hunting.
#
I really want to just learn more about the back country and adventure, being a big game guide would be awesome if that worked out. the reason is because i love being in the outdoors and thing this would be a great experience, and a dream job if it was ment to be. *ZS

I grew up in alaska and minnesota. I have been hunting and fishing my whole life and I love every second in the woods. If I had the chance to make a living doing something I love so much I would love to try.
#
Its all about true love for the wilderness and a complete desire to be no where else.

I have found myself in an industry, mining, that all though pays well is completely unrewarding and not something I am interested in doing for the next 35 years. I am aware that I may not get paid as well as a guide, but would rather die happy and broke than rich and miserable.

I would like to become a Big Game Hunting Guide because I have hunted my whole life. I enjoy it and I am very passionate about it, and as a 2011 high school gradute I can imagine no better career for a person such as myself to persue.
